Get Involved

Start by helping to create awareness by talking about your experience. Reach out to your local leaders. Write and call your Congress person or state representative and share your story. Then ask them to create legislation that prevents wait times longer than 4 days for children to receive medication.

You can also volunteer at a resource center or homeless shelter. If all of that seems too much, start small. Stock your car with reusable water bottles or hand warmers, so that when you see someone in need, you’re armed with a gift.

Lastly, we need your donations to fund resources like local mobile care centers, research for new treatments, help with funding for individuals that can’t afford medication and to create organizations that will support a community of care givers; from parents, grandparents and aunts and uncles. Please visit our donation page to contribute. For up to date news and help topics, sign up for our monthly newsletter below and delivered straight to your inbox.
